1. Head Downtown
Auburn may not be a giant city, but the Downtown area has plenty of big-city style! Whether you're looking for cute boutiques that have one-of-a-kind pieces, the trendiest shoe stores, or the perfect makeup for that big Saturday night date, you'll find it in Downtown Auburn.

2. Take a trip to the Auburn Mall
Over the years, it's been called the Auburn Mall, the Village Mall, and the Colonial Mall, but no matter what you decide to call it, if you're looking for a wide array of stores, you need to head here! The mall is only four miles from the Auburn University campus, so you won't have to travel far to indulge your inner shopaholic. Inside, you'll find three department stores -- JC Penney, Dillard's, and Belk. If you prefer to shop at the big-name grocery stores, you'll have your choice of Publix, Kroger, Piggly Wiggly, and Winn Dixie. There's even an Asian Super Market located on Pepperell Parkway if you feel like doing some exotic cooking. 4. Keep your budget intact at the secondhand stores
If your wardrobe needs a cheap addition, there are plenty of places to find it in Auburn! The city is home to several thrift stores and consignment boutiques, so you'll have your pick of gently-used clothing. That way, you can look your best and still have plenty of money left over to enjoy everything else that Auburn has to offer!
5. Don't forget about Toomer's Drugs
